    Sunny Summer Ideas

Published 06/15/2022 | Posted by Barbara Harris

Summer has officially graced us with its presence! And, luckily for us, we live in one of the most beautiful places to spend the summer - so there is no reason to be indoors if you can avoid it! If you are looking for a few activities to help get you outside AND help improve the look of your home, here are a couple of easy DIY projects:

-Terra Cota pots: Terra Cota pots are a great way to get the kids involved and add some beautiful flowers around your property. First, task the kiddos with painting the pots. You can come up with a fun theme, add their handprints, or let them surprise you with their original designs. Once they are done you can plant flowers, vegetables, or herbs in their masterpieces. Kids love being able to take ownership of projects, and this is a great way to give that to them!

-Corn hole and yard games:  Corn hole is a crowd-pleaser if you are catching up with friends at a neighborhood barbeque, trying to find a fun activity for the kids, or hosting an open house. Spike ball, Ladder toss, and Croquet are other yard games that encourage all to get involved and enjoy their Colorado summer.

Are you needing to get out of the house while your house is being shown to potential buyers? Here are a couple of fun events happening throughout the summer that will be sure to keep the whole family entertained!
